Pat and Sue met while attending Western State College in Gunnison Colorado. We were married in 1970. Heather arrived in 1973 while Sue was finishing up her BA and Pat was working on his credential in communication disorders at Stanislaus State in Turlock California. Pat worked for Merced County Schools as a speech and language pathologist and sue worked in completing her credential in special education. Lindsay our youngest daughter arrived in 1982.
Pat joined the Merced Union High School Staff in 1986. He currently serves two high schools in Merced. Sue also worked for Merced Union High School District. She retired 2002 due to the increasing effects of arthritis. She had knee joint replacement surgery in August 2004.
Heather our eldest daughter graduated from Evergreen College with a degree in psychology. Her masters degree from CIS San Francisco allows her to work with dual diagnosis women in San Francisco.
Lindsay is graduated from Sonoma State University and is pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Policy.
